MY PERSONAL GOALS FOR HNG 8.0 INTENSHIP
In this article, I would like to share with you my personal goals on the ongoing HNG 8.0 Internship program and as well what I hope to achieve by the end of this 8 weeks programme.
GOALS
Below are some of the goals I have set in order to get better in my career and also do well in this internship.
i. Giving more hours to coding: I am hoping give more time to coding daily in such a way that a day doesn’t get by without me writing some lines of code size notwithstanding.
ii. To beat deadlines: I know too well that HNG internships are fast-paced, I want to use this in advantage to learn how to meet-up with deadlines.
iii. Grow my network: I hope to find people of like minds that I can work with during the course of this programme and probably in real life too if it goes well.
WHAT I HOPE TO ACHIEVE
The goals listed above forms part of what I hope to achieve in this programme. Below are more, in addition to those.
i. Employment: I hope to land my first job after this training because instances abound of people who after the previous HNG internship became gainfully employed.
ii. Proficiency: I hope to gain mastery in my chosen path so as to increase my employability chances.
iii. Confidence: I am pretty sure this internship will help build my confidence in developing and shipping products.
iv. Experience: Generally, increasing my level of experience is the ultimate goal and will be a big achievement for me.
